For the next five years
With the flurry of NHL signings, both by the Sabres and other teams, every Buffalo fan has been holding their breath, waiting for the biggest elephant in the room to decide where he was going. If that metaphor made no sense, I mean we Sabres fans have been absolutely shitting our pants over what was going to happen with Ryan Miller’s contract. Would we lose our golden boy? Our meal ticket? THE FACE OF THE FRANCHISE?!
But Quinzie and Darcy have come through (how often will you ever say that phrase) and locked up Miller for the prime of his career, signing Miller to a 5 year contract that keeps him in Buffalo through the 2013-2014 season.
Numbers aren’t out yet, but in all honesty, I think I speak for the collective Dukes when I say I DON’T CARE, MILLER TIME IS FOREVER!
